[RETURNING USERS] Begin testing a beta release
Audience
This guide is for returning Beta Program users who want to access beta binaries and tester resources.
Prerequisites
Before accessing the Beta Program resources, make sure you have:
- Completed your Beta Program user profile
- Received a verification email from the Beta Team
- Created an Omnissa Connect account
- Confirmed beta product availability. See beta program schedule for current and upcoming testing
Access Beta Program resources
Once your account is set up and verified, follow the steps below to access beta projects and begin testing.
- Log in using one of the following methods:
Log in via Omnissa Connect
Log in via Customer Connect
Use federated login (with your company credentials)
If using federated login, ensure your Omnissa ID is linked to your federated account via Account Settings > Link Omnissa ID.

- Access the beta project page using any of the following methods:
- From the beta schedule tab: Click the relevant URL listed on the beta program schedule.
From the beta launch email: Use the link provided in the beta launch email sent on the day the project goes live.
Note: If you joined the Beta Program after the launch date, you will not receive this email.
- Via Omnissa Connect search: Paste the beta project link into the search bar on the Omnissa Connect homepage.
- On the beta project page:
- Click Download Now to begin the download process.
- Log in if prompted.
- Accept the Beta End User License Agreement (EULA).
- Once accepted, your download will begin, and you can start using the beta software.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter an error when trying to access a beta project, it may mean you're not included in the tester group. Here’s what to do:
- Just joined? Wait a few hours for access to update.
- Changed product selections? Re-submit your user profile form.
- Still having issues? Submit an Access Request Form.

Beta product feedback
To report issues or share suggestions about a specific beta product, email your feedback to the address listed in the tester resources or release notes.
Be sure to include:
- Summary: A concise description of the issue or suggestion.
- Reproduction steps: Clear step-by-step instructions to reliably reproduce the issue.
- Supporting files: Attach any relevant materials such as screenshots, logs, or other documentation that can assist in diagnosing the problem.
Important: Each product has its own dedicated feedback distribution list. Always refer to the release notes to ensure your report is sent to the correct address.
