Workspace ONE UEM makes strides towards EAL4+ In Evaluation Status
With an emphasis on innovation, security, and leadership within the End-User Computing (EUC) space, the Workspace ONE UEM teams are proactively engaged in expanding our certification footprint globally. In our pursuit of the highest level of software and security validation, we are pleased to announce our ongoing journey towards obtaining Evaluation Assurance Level 4 (EAL4+) certification.
Current Status: Pre-Evaluation
Workspace ONE UEM is in the EAL4+ pre-evaluation status, diligently collaborating with both TUVIT and Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) teams. This collaborative effort has yielded a finalized Target of Evaluation (TOE), which will encompass modernized services, and an architecture design validated by the BSI team. This progress sets the foundation for the extensive EAL4+ certification process, which we anticipate will span over the next couple of years.
Next Milestone: In Evaluation Status
Workspace ONE UEM teams are gearing up for a crucial stage in our EAL4+ journey— Achieving in evaluation status. Those activities include finalizing the security target and completing additional pre-evaluation activities. It's important to note that certain elements, like Android Fully Managed mode with Google Cloud APIs, may be excluded from the security target to maintain the integrity of the EAL4+ standards.
As we navigate through this intricate process, we appreciate your interest and assure you that Workspace ONE UEM remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering a secure and innovative end-user computing experience. We will continue to keep you informed of our progress as we strive towards achieving and surpassing industry-leading security standards.
